Boken made from red oak - 102 cm

Basically a Boken is a replica of an ancient Samurai sword (Katana) made by wood.

A Boken is used for example to exercise the handleing of a sword withou too much risk.

Mainly used in Iaido, Judo, Jiu Jitsu and Karate:

• Demonstration of forms especially in Iaido and variou Martial Arts Kata's
• Prepartion for demonstration of the handling of a sharp Katana
• With a total length of 102 cm's the Boken is within the meassures of a real Katana.

Made from red Oak.

Includeing a plastic tsuba (hand protection).

Also available made from white oak.
